Student Mentor and Tutor- The Movement Enrichment Program (Palmdale School District Region)
About the Role- We are The Movement!
Peer Advisors for The Movement Enrichment Program (a branch of NCRF) work with elementary students (K-8th grade) to improve their academic performance, while guiding them towards positive post-secondary pursuits. What sets this program apart from most other educational initiatives is what we call “comprehensive intervention,” which includes, most notably, onsite, and holistic in-class support for students. This approach includes, but is not limited to, mentoring, academic tutoring, socioemotional support and college and career planning.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: 9-12 Hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
*Schedules are based on school district's academic calendars
Pay: $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience
Student Tutor and Mentor (San Diego County of Education Region)
Title: Peer Advisor
Hours: 25–30 hours per week.
3-5 days per week.
During school hours
Monday-Friday between 8:30am- 3:00pm
Specific hours may vary depending on your assigned school site

This approach includes, but is not limited to, mentoring, academic tutoring, socioemotional support and college and career planning.

Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
